Shad Thames

After visiting the Tower of London, I crossed the river via Tower Bridge, and went in search of this little backwater, called Shad Thames. Here, some original Dr Who was filmed back in the 1980s, called 'The Resurrection of the Daleks'. They threw a dalek out of one of those windows on the right of this picture! It's a much more up and coming area now, with shops and restaurants.

I don't think I've ever been to this area but it looks to have lots of interest for a photographer, Lucy. Those bridges linking the, what - former warehouses? - are fascinating. You do have a nose for sniffing out interesting locations.
