Building work is in progress in a number of locations in and around York, after what seems like a long pause. Here, close to the city centre in an area known as Hungate, work has started on both office blocks (on the left) and residential blocks (on the right), and I thought they looked quite striking as they climb towards the blue sky.
It's amazing how quickly it's possible to get out of the habit of posting a photo a day - and suddenly its over 2 months since our last post.
We are in the midst of preparations for Lucy's wedding, now less than a month away, and Katharine has been very busy creating the bridesmaids dresses over recent days. I promise there will be photos from the wedding!

Welcome back, sorry I missed this when you posted it. Can fully understand the pressures of other tasks. Like the composition, it would be interesting to see it develop over time.
