A long and busy day yesterday as Katharine and I went to Sheffield for the wedding of her niece Victoria. We had also allowed time to look at more of the elephant sculptures around the city centre before the service.
Lots of photos taken during the day, and I've yet to sort most of them out, but I did like this end of day shot, taken from a Cross Country train between Doncaster and York, on our way home.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, which put this on the trending and popular pages. It's really nice to hear from you all!
I have to confess a great weakness for sunset / sunrise shots (although it is very rare for me to be up early enough for a sunrise!). There is something special about watching the colours of a sunset change and deepen before disappearing.
