High in the Sky

At the north end of Castleton Rigg there is a bench, in the heather, a little way from a quiet country lane, with super views of the surrounding countryside. Katharine and I spent some time sitting there, absorbing the beauty of the landscape, and having a snack before continuing our walk.

While sitting there I spotted this aircraft passing above, and wondered if anyone aboard realised the beauty of the landscape they were passing over.
