One of the gifts that Katharine received when she was ill earlier in the year was a pot of violas. Katharine isn't the most successful of gardeners, but this plant seems to have thrived under her care, and there are now quite a few flowers on it.
Here the evening sunlight catches one of the flowers, illuminating it from behind.
Katharine continues to feel a little better day by day, but it will be a long road back to full health. She has to take particular care to avoid Covid 19 since she has recently had pneumonia, and is therefore thought to be at greater risk.
Beautiful to see and it's looking delightful and healthy. Hope Katharine continues to recover well and that you both have gentle days in solitude. All very strange at present. 💛💛
