Katharine and I had a walk around Rawcliffe Lake on Wednesday, shortly before sunset. There were plenty of Canada Geese on the water, but no sign of the Greylag Geese that can often be seen as well. The swan was also missing.

It is always fascinating to enjoy a walk around Rawcliffe Lake, although at times it is very busy. On this occasion we had started our walk rather later than planned, so it was quite quiet, although the light was fading fast as we reached this point.
