I rather like this Christmas tree - I featured a simular shot to this last December, so I must! In the background on the left is the lantern tower of All Saints Church, Pavement. On the right, sadly the bright light isn't a star, but one of the lights in a multi storey car park.
Beautiful shot and very nicely composed. Haven't been out to explore street decorations because of Covid19. Sad about that but happy to be safe and away from the disaster this pandemic has brought on the world.
Nice. I do enjoy Christmas lights at night in town. Like @sangwann I have not ventured out at night to explore ours either. Now in Tier 3, so probably not going to just yet either!

I should add that we have been very careful and Covid-19 safe on our trips out. The buses into town are almost empty and there are relatively few people on the streets. Covid-19 cases in York have dropped considerably since the start of the lockdown, so it is lovely to enjoy the city centre while it is quiet.
