Taken a few days ago, I caught a glimpse of this from our landing window, so it was something of a chance photo.
The downpour yesterday eventually cleared, we had a sunny morning today followed by a storm with strong winds this afternoon. Sadly the storm isn't due to end until after sunset, so there won't be a rainbow today.

The storm yesterday was quite destructive in many places, but we were fortunate to escape without any damage, though the howling wind wasn't pleasant to listen to.

Thank you both - we have seen quite a few rainbows during the mixed recent weather. What I'm looking for is spring!
