Our daughter Louise is a keen craft fan, and has been working on creating two crochet blankets for her children, each blanket consisting of a collection of squares with each square having an image linked to the theme for their blanket. Our grandaughter is a Harry Potter fan and our grandson a Star Wars fan, hence the themes for their blankets.
Louise brought the almost complete blankets with her when they visited last week and spent some of her time working on them. Our grandchildren chose their favourite square from their blanket and they took photos of them (with just a little help from grandad to get them reasonably straight). I later cropped their images and combined them in this collage.
Louise has been working on these blankets for about two years, and was able to complete them both over the Easter weekend, so well done to her! She now has two very happy children. So, here we are, a family effort (with particular emphasis on the work Louise put into this) to create these images of Harry Potter and Yoda (from Star Wars).
Well done to Louise for her lovely crochet work and well done to the grandkids for their photos. Great work for grandad to help out the kids with their photos.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I've just posted a collage of the finished blankets on our project. Louise now has two very happy children!
