Still at the Homestead Park last Monday, and I liked the colour in this little group of silver birch. Without their leaves the silvery colour of the trunks and branches stands out nicely, especially when the sun is quite low.
The silver birch are surrounded at their bases by dogwood plants, giving a contrast between the silvery trees and the green of the lawn.

It is always worth a walk around the Homestead Park at any time of year, since there is always something interesting to see.
