@vignouse You know when you see something that makes you think "I wouldn't mind trying to photograph that" well, knowing that these ladybird beetles fly when there's nowhere else to go was my photo aim when I saw this one walking across my window sill. I wedged the pencil upright, and placed the insect at the base of the pencil. It obliged me by walking up the pencil, and when at the top it flew off. Thanks Richard.
