Small bird big sound. by gamelee

Small bird big sound.

For some months now Iv'e been moving over to a lighter set up for my photography. I've sold all my Canon kit and gone for Micro four thirds. So I have a lot to learn about my new set up. Today I took delivery of my new Panasonic Leica 100-400mm f4.0-6.3.
A very nice shot.

You have done what I'm considering, but I think I'm about 2 years (maybe 1) away from making the change. I'll be interested to see your photos with the new gear and read what you think are the advantages or any downsides. This is certainly a great start -- beautiful composition, clean lines, great tones.

Your title is a clever metaphor for your new camera system! Mrs S @s4sayer recently invested in an OMD 10ii and is delighted with it.

Sounds like a wise move Lee -- I hope you will enjoy your new camera . This is a beautiful shot with great clear silhouette of the bird and tree against beautiful land and sky colour tones , A dramatic composition ! fav

Your new camera sounds like fun and a worthy challenge. As a non techie person, haven't yet gone beyond ABC with mine! Yours seems to be functioning...and am impressed with how large and clear is this bird's singing beak!
