The Vulcan Ironsmith.

The Vulcan Motor and Engineering Company Limited, of Southport, England, made cars from 1902 until 1928. This is the mascot they used on the Vulcan car.
Very cool... never seen on of these. Love the shallow DOF.

Times have certainly changed in manufacturing. Really interesting to see the mascot - almost like the figurehead on a ship.

I have never seen one of these in detail before and haven't heard of a Vulcan (apart from Mr Spock) so this is a new one on me. What a beauty!
