Moss and sporophytes. by gamelee

Moss and sporophytes.

Mosses do not have seeds and after fertilisation develop sporophytes with unbranched stalks topped with single capsules containing spores.

This is a 1/1 macro shot, paper thin DOF.
Outstanding macro!

@monikozi I have the camera set to manual focus, but I don't turn the focus ring, instead I rock back with tiny movements while also using focus peaking. Thank you.

I like your description of the DOF. So often I am trying to hand hold with macro and having to be so careful not to move or sway or focus is lost!! I really should get the tripod out more often! Great image.
