In the warmer weather I barely see the chickadees. They may flash through the yard, briefly, but hardly ever settle down on the feeder or anywhere in sight. I'm not sure if they are driven away by the flocks of house sparrows and junkos but today, when we are in a deep freeze, and very few birds or animals are to be seen, the chickadees seem to be hanging around the yard and visiting the feeder and I finally have had a chance to get a few shots of them.
