@janetb@susiemc I am, in general, conflicted about zoo animals, while I enjoy being able to see them up close I feel bad for them living their lives in captivity, and I often find that they look sad, but this bear did seem more animated and happy than most of the zoo animals I've seen. He had a big pool with a few toys which he seemed to enjoy throwing around and he certainly was interested in what we were doing on the other side of the glass.
