A couple of days ago one of my cats came home with a chipmunk in her mouth. When I realized it was still alive I made her put it down and, after lying there stunned for about 10 or 15 seconds the little thing finally scampered off into the bushes. Yesterday I found this on my garden bench...probably an entirely different chipmunk, or the same one with a death wish?
