Autumn is arriving very slow this year. The tops of the trees are barely starting to show some red, yellow and orange. Best on Black.
I have had little time lately to comment on 365 between my husband being under the weather with a cough/cold and more work being done on our home. We are having the exterior of our house painted and caulked before Winter. My husband is also trying to replace boards that have dry rot before the painters get to those areas. Choosing a new paint color and new front door is exciting but the indecision is stressful. Though I have always liked the color on our house, after 22 years, I thought a change would be nice. I wanted our house to be white with black shutters (probably from watching Hallmark movies) however, my husband said "no go" on adding shutters. So, I changed from a khaki tan (sand pebble) to a taupe brown (light truffle) and no one driving by will even notice the difference after all! We are keeping the same trim color (Swiss coffee) because it works with our white picket fence and we are still deciding on a new front door that will remain red in color. I wanted to change to a black door but a South facing front door in red or orange is suppose to be good luck. And who couldn't use more good luck?!?
A lovely capture of the bright autumnal leaves - I am sure they will all turn colour soon and fall off the trees ! Ooh dear - you are busy - decisions are so taxing , but I am sure it will all be good in the end
