Young woman stands in the 3-foot wide median between north and southbound traffic, while holding a sign reminding all of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old boy who was killed by a police officer in Cleveland, Ohio. She was out there for all of the 45 minutes I was shooting .... standing just like that for almost the whole time. Her eyes are closed here...I wonder if she is praying?
I like that you captured this with the motion of the passing car; gives a sense of her dedication to what she is doing. (Think I’d be afraid to stand in the median with my eyes closed…)
