Today we went to visit our eldest daughter Sarah. She, her partner and son moved house just before last Christmas. They were living in a small upstairs flat.
They applied for a housing association property which is a hard thing to get these days. They were lucky to get a two bedroom bungalow which is on a corner plot so has a large back and side garden. There are 2 sheds and a large patio area which you can’t see in this photo. The property had previously been occupied by an elderly, housebound lady and nothing had been done to the garden for many years. The gardens were full of rubbish and overgrown with conifers and ivy. The council have removed the conifers and are replacing the boundary fencing. It’s been slow progress but we are getting there and the garden has so much potential. The topless gardener is my husband with Sarah.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Unfortunately there are several drain covers in the garden but these could be camouflaged with strategically placed pots which could easily be moved if the water people needed access.
