We grew up near power lines and to me they were just a part of the landscape but my baby sister made them into a much more idealized object. She calls them "ladies"
As we were driving around yesterday I saw a long line of them going into the distance and thought they would make a great leading line photo so asked my husband to stop the truck. Truthfully? I yelled stop at him which he obediently did. I had my eye on the line to the right but when I got out of the truck and started to go around behind it to compose my shot I looked up. This is what I saw right there beside the country road we were on.
Oh! Your sister’s name for these (ladies) is perfect and I love your pov on this one. You and I were on the same wave length today! 😊 I will always remember your sister’s name for the big power lines when I see them.
i saw a place yesterday where they have these thingies and one can actually walk underneath it. i wish i could remember where i saw it. :-D aces on the shot, girlfriend. i like it!
