The pregnancy center I volunteer at is having a fall festival this week-end and I am bringing some cakes for the cake walk. This one will be a dump cake so called because all the ingredients are dumped into the pan with no mixing and baked. My kind of cake
@corinnec@olivetreeann@Dawn@randystreat@ludwigsdiana@kjarn@wakelys@joansmor@30pics4jackiesdiamond@briaan@linnypinny@marilyn Thank you for all your nice comments about this funny sounding cake. You can use any pie filling and cake mix that complement each other
1. Spray the pan
2. Dump the can of pie filling into it (2 cans if you are doing a 9x13 pan)
3. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pie filling (DO NOT MIX CAKE FIRST)
4. melt one cube butter (2 if 9x13 pan) and pour over mix
5. bake at 350F/180C for 45-50 minutes
I am not sure how to convert the pan size but maybe 23x33?
Jackie, Using beans would definitely make it a very British dump cake!
Thank you for the recipe. I had to research cube butter though I am confused as the recipe says cube butter but in your photo it looks like a stick of butter.
