There is s pond where I go to pick up the meals I deliver on Fridays and there are often various kinds of ducks and geese either in the water or lurking around the edges of the pond. I decided to try and get an interesting shot of one of them today when I spied this Great Blue Heron wading along the shoreline. I'm feeling pretty lucky today!

A wonderful capture of this heron and all the plant life.I like how the light in the photo goes from dark in the lower left corner (which draws my eyes to the heron) and across the bottom to very bright at the top.
@randystreat I’m so glad you like it, Kathy and thank you for noticing that. I would love to be able to tell you it was by design, but it was mostly by luck.
