I bought myself a small knitting machine in December and have had lots of practice with it but I am still learning how to use it. These are some of the hats I have made that gave me the yarn bits of Saturday's photo. I have lots of learning to do but am pleased with what I know so far and I have used lots of yarn that has been lying around the house for a long time
They are so pretty. I really like the patterns as well as the colors. Did you say what your plans for these are? I'm sure they will be used and enjoyed by whoever you gift them to.

Katy, I know someone who lives in Montreal and she makes them for her daughter's school. I know it's not real cold where you live, but it does get cold and it's all relative. Perhaps your daughter would be interested.
