Beautiful macro! Altho he looks a little irritated about having to move. Great color on this guy! That would have to be my husband's job. Hate to admit it, but I'm afraid of frogs. What a "girlie" thing to say. :)

Oh dear - looks like one of our toads rather than a frog ;-) I'm not sure what the difference is but they all get be a little creeped out with their slimy skin :-)
Great photo, Katy. He is actually not that big unless you have huge leaves. Looks about the size of what we used to get but they have moved on. We never had one die, but we have had baby birds fall from the neighbors tree and die in our skimmer. Gotta watch out for the ducks that come once a year and poop in the pool as they make a real mess.
@darsphotos LOVE the comment about the ducks. THAT is one thing I have never had to worry about. This guy was probably 2 or 3 inches. Thanks so much for the FAV!
