As I was walking into my house this afternoon I notice this Daffodil shoot already poking through the dirt. I made the mistake one year of thinking it was a weed and pulling it because nothing starts growing THIS early! I was wrong!
I would be doing the happy dance if that was my garden. I went and checked this afternoon and nothing yet - but way too early for us.
I can't wait for you to show me some flower shots!
@sunshinephoto5 I always worry that they might come up too soon and then we get a cold spell and they die. We had 64 today and 74 predicted for later his week!
It must be nice seeing this as an early sign of spring. All I see are really weeds in our yard. It actually looks like daylight at your house. It has been dark, gray and ready to rain. Also Hotmail was down all day yesterday until late last night. Wow, a world without 365 and other e-mails for an entire day. Behind again and nothing outside my front door or back door to take photos of.
@darsphotos LOL! I feel your stress when the computer goes down! I am sure you have something you could shoot near your house! I am forever choosing some mundane subject to shoot! We had a grey day too but I was happy to see this little sprout of green!
@grammyn Not fun with Hotmail down all day yesterday. Now that it is totally dark outside no outside photo, though I have tons of fillers that I can use. I did not take one photo yesterday. I was going to do a photo a day as the year started and had sun and the perfect photo to take yesterday but never got out to take it. Darn. I see lots of green though like I said they are weeds.
