Two Colors, Two Dollars

I have traveled to Canada many times in my life but their money always seems like play money to me! This is a practice shot with my new lenses.
we rather like our "toonie" ;)

@tesssa Thanks so much for the comment! That "toonie" has traveled a long way! I'll bet that is an interesting story.

@michele66 I thought so too!

heh - it's called a toonie because our one dollar coin has a picture of a loon on it and we call it a "loonie". (and it's nice to "only have change" but find you have over 12 dollars in your purse!)

@christinesmith I appreciate the clarification! I know what you mean about have $12 in change! Ours would weigh too much probably if we had that amount in change!

Great detail and lighting! I'd be jealous of your new lenses/filters, but I am so not into "doing" my photography right now it would be totally wasted on me. I am definitely on the countdown until retirement and I can have time to do the things I want to do rather than the things I have to do! It's a good thing I actually like my job... :)

@marilyn I had mixed feelings about them ! It takes me a while to warm up to change! Definitely something to work on. I think this is from our sister trip.
