First of all these scars are all on my fingers or thumbs in spite of what it may look like!
The top one is from a spice can before I was 5. You have to be really old to remember how dangerous those cans were!
The one on the left got caught in a toy rifle when I was 5 or 6. Again you have to be really old to remember when toys were dangerous and it was YOUR fault if you got hurt on one!
The one on the right was when I was considerably older and trying to cut the bottom off of a too tall Christmas tree. The saw slipped but my thumb stopped it!
Unfortunately scars like that stay with you for the rest of your live. my daughter when she was five fell on a broken bottle..of course now that she older she still has the scar on her hand..I've fallen a few times but luckily no scars.. once I slipped in the bathtub and injured a few ribs..
@bruni Oh, they are still there but for this theme I wanted them to show a little more. They have faded a good bit and are in places that make them look more like wrinkles now,as I said.
I am glad they are tiny scars! I do remember when getting hurt was just your own problem/your own fault. Your scar on the left side bottom reminds me of one I have on the webbing of skin between my thumb and pointer fingers. I had nocked up an arrow in archery, pullllled it back, and then it slipped off the nock and the point went into my hand. The bow as a bit too strong for me, so I had trouble, pulling back the bowstring to get the piercing metal out of my skin webbing. Ouch!
It is good that we are all in a safe environment, because in the movie Jaws, it was just after the stars were showing off their scars that they were under the final attack by the monstrous shark.
