While I was waiting to meet a friend this afternoon I took a page from Debbie's book and decided to shoot something in my car. This little twig has been in there for several years...yes I said years.... because I like the way it is twisted. The shirt it is sitting on has been there for considerably less time.
Now why don't I think of things like this instead of driving all over looking for a "subject!" This looks like a miniature crooked staff. It's really unique and you've caught that here. Great lighting and shadow!
@karenann I have spent a lot of time looking for ideas too and for some reason today while I was sitting in the car worrying about what I was going to shoot so late in the day I remembered DEBBIE! Since I almost always have my camera with me I started shooting. More to follow I am sure!
Oh my gosh...I just read your narrative and the comments. I'm guessing that Debbie is me since I shoot in my car! Wow...thanks Katy. Glad I could be an influence on your choice of photo today. I missed my Monday-in-the-car shot cause I'm sick but will do it Weds when I pick up my Granddaughter. :-)

@peterdegraaff I can't say what about it appeals to me but I threaten my grandchildren with bodily harm if they break it when they get in my car. I guess it is because it is not just an ordinary stick
