Sail Away by grammyn

Sail Away

I intended my skill album to be more about editing and processing skills as well as photography skills but it seems to have morphed into a show of skills form work and play. Sailing a boat is another example of that type of skill
Wouldn't it love to be out there cutting through the waves

@grammyn It is nearly midday. I am at work and about to have lunch

@peterdegraaff Well that tells ME I don't know what time it is in Sydney. You usually only get on in my early morning Which I though was your late at night. What time is in right now?

I would think so too ... I thought they were getting up over there when we went to bed!! What time IS it there, Peter? Like noon?
October 19th, 2012
@peterdegraaff Inquiring minds want to know!;~} What time is it in Sydney right now?
October 19th, 2012
@karenann You were close. They are 14 hours ahead of us so it is 1: 00 in the afternoon on Friday!
October 19th, 2012
@grammyn @karenann it is currently 2:27pm FridayWent for a walk, took some photos and got some lunch. Currently in Amsterdam it is 5:27 am, in New York 11:27 pm Thursday, fort Worth 10:27pm, Santa Fe 9:27pm and LA 8:27pm. Guess you East Coasters must be getting tucked in.

@peterdegraaff @karenann we are also on summer time so it is really just 1:30pm here
October 19th, 2012
Great shot and great conversation about time zones. When Marisa was in Australia her time was 14-and-a-half hours ahead of us! I thought that half hour very strange...

I know how to sail a small boat, but I think such a bigger one is a different skill. Great capture!
October 19th, 2012
You captured this nicely Katy, nice composition
October 19th, 2012
@peterdegraaff Thanks so much for the update ,Peter! I don't know why I didn't just Google it in the first place. Karenann and I are both in the Central time zone of the US.
October 19th, 2012
@marilyn Thanks, Sissy! Maybe it was summer time like our daylight savings?!
October 19th, 2012
@geertje Wow! i am impressed Geertje! I imagine it is similar with a big boat but not knowing ANYTHING about it I will bow to your assessment! Thanks for the kind words!

@digitalrn That is so nice of you ,Rick! I appreciate it! I have learned to put space in front of a subject which can be a challenge with a moving object.
October 19th, 2012
Nice composition. Love the colors of sea and sky. Wish I were there....
