I've never been much good at gardening and never really had a place to grow vegetables, but this reminds me that I could at least drag my dehydrator out of storage and use it to preserve some store bought produce instead of letting it go bad.
@pasadenarose thanks a bunch! We had lots of tomatoes this year and I didn't want to waste any so we dried tons of them . It makes such good spaghetti sauce to use fresh tomatoes and the dried ones are almost like fresh! It is so much easier than canning them too!
