Keep a Lid On It

I come from a long line of home canners and still do a little even now! This particular jar is rather old and shows how it was done before the screw on lids that are used today
I love your low-key lighting and beautiful jar. Why am I not suprised that you still do some canning?!! You're a special and multi-talented woman.

This is a classic from yesterday. We used to do a lot of canning too, but now it is just somethign we no longer do.

@digitalrn thanks, Rick. for me it was having the children leave. It is actaully cheaper today to buy most things than to preserve them unless the food is free to start with!
