Their are always a lot of mourning doves around but usually they are sitting on the wires. I liked how this one looked in the grass.

Nice one! Mourning doves are common around here. too. I thinks it's good practice to photograph them when they aren't on the wires, too!

What a great shot of this dove. Love the blue ring around the eye. It certainly let you get close.
