Melting Rays by grammyn

Melting Rays

In the South when you get out of an air conditioned car and point your camera at the setting sun this is what you get. I upped the contrast by 10% and that is the only processing done to this shot. Everything else is because of condensation on the lens
Nice

Oooo, I love this one too. Wow! It's orangey goodness and belongs in Florida. I want this framed on my wall. Stunning!

@silverlight This is what I stared out with . Just a fine mist on the lens and then when it stared to bead up I got the other shot. I am glad I kept shooting even after i got this shot which I though was perfect because I also love the effects in the other one. Thank you so much.

Very neat effect! Does the condensation hurt the camera? I spend lots of time worrying about the heat and my camera--but maybe I don't need to.

@eudora Thanks, Diane. I can't imagine that it helps it much . I think it probably isn't very good for it in the long run but I don't see any immediate problems with it.
