We have been having our roof repaired, some tiles off & a general tidy up.
This is Phil the chap who does any maintenance or building work we need done. He has done loads of jobs for us over the years & is unfailingly cheerful every time he works.
Sorry I have been very erratic with commenting this week. I am managing to post but haven't much time to comment on some evenings.
No need to comment on mine, the photos are for my diary record.
Three good things:
1. Lovely having family here.....lots to talk about!
2. Waiting for fish & chips as I write this.
3. A bottle of NZ white in the fridge!
I loved climbing up on the roof with my grandpa when he made repairs when I was in grade school. This picture brings back happy memories. Glad you posted it
Phil looks like a very agreeable fellow! I love the tiles on your roof. So much more character than our asphalt shingles.

I daresay he's got that face on because you asked him if he minded getting his photo taken! Good on ya, Phil! Good to get those valuable tiles repaired. White wine is so good with fish and chips - might do that tonight as its Friday - not that I am of that religious persuasion!
