This part of the field was flooded today although the footpath on the bank much drier.
This is the area Connie normally loves to run & flush out any ducks that might be hiding in the reeds....I doubt she would be going in there today.
Three good things:
1. A very lazy morning, I slept badly so had a bit of a lie in.
2. We are half way through January, the worst month of the year in my opinion.
3. Some new stone around the new style in the field....a bit less muddy.
Gosh you have a paddy field here!! Hasn’t the weather been ghastly?! However, you are right good weather for ducks!
I think Connie is a spaniel isnt she? Well I imagine she wouldn’t to too deterred from this terrain!
So soggy Pat ,and the weather forecast does not. sound too promising .Jan And Feb are certainly the most depressing months .although tonight we did. Notice the day extending a little
You certainly have a damp outlook. I can’t remember when we last had a spate of inclement weather. An odd day now and again, yet largely we’ve had no signs of Winter and/or inclement weather. Long may it continue...although farmers and growers need some good weather.

Good to hear they are upkeeping the walkways for you..
I am with you about January - though February is close on its' heels in regards to dreariness around here!
Hope you have a good sleep tonight x
