This is Dryas octopetala. I found this plant while walking in the garden. At first I thought it was a pasque flower, but it has different leaves, similar to oak leaves. In nature, it grows in the northern mountains, but it works great as a garden plant. Its feathery fruiting head plays wonderfully with the wind and light.
