Palm Sunday 2 by haskar

Palm Sunday 2

On Palm Sunday I was at the Museum of the Mazovian Countryside. The feast was established to commemorate Christ's arrival in Jerusalem and is celebrated very solemnly in Poland. Palm trees are made of various materials depending on the area. In Mazovia, made of blotting paper flowers, attached to a hazel (or young pine) rod, additionally entwined with blueberry, juniper and boxwood.
What a beautiful image of this lady working hard!

This is a very precious time of the year where we have opportunity to reflect and give praise as we take in the meaning and the sacrifice on our behalf. FAV

@marlboromaam Yes, this is one of the working looms. Once a year, the museum hosts regional weaving workshops.
