Thanks everyone, this pyramid thingy is part of a new, small skate park (mostly for kids I think). I don't know anything about skate boards and skating so I don't know what purpose this thing has, but I do know that skaters fall sometimes and it they hit this thing I worry it will do some serious damage. I really can't understand why HSE allowed this to be built and placed there
