When I saw a photo of baked spaghetti (also known as "million dollar spaghetti") I just had to try to make it. It is spaghetti with Alfredo sauce, topped with minced meat in Bolognese sauce placed in an oven proof dish, finished off with large amounts of Mozzarella cheese and baked for 20 minutes at 200C.
It was soooooo good but so rich. Next time I'll just have half the portion.
Thank you all for your kind comments. It was delicious! It is not fine dining (whatever that is :-), but as comfort food it doesn't get any better than this.
I had never tried Alfredo sauce before but I I am keen to try that on its own with pasta. Real butter, full fat cream and loads of parmesan cheese... how could you go wrong with that :-)
