LOL…yes it did, luckily he was a a good swimmer.
My mother in law had been there in the late 1970’s and rode up from the harbour, so I knew if I ever got there I wanted to do the same.

You remember correctly!!! I think I’d rather go up! One of my friends was thrown off her donkey and rather scratched up! She walked the rest of the way up!
