This is Hilde she was shopping with her mother, as was I, at a thriftshop in Baarn.
The first portrait I took was from a person I knew, but this was the real challenge. Take a picture of a total stranger.
Omg, en je vraagt dat gewoon? "Mag ik even een foto van je maken?" hahaha... wel een goede portret foto... heb je haar email zodat je hem kan mailen? Moedig hoor :)

I just looked back through 10 recent portraits and found I used that phrase in 2! It's interesting what you said about saying strange things sometimes when you are not quite comfortable because I do exactly that too,specially in a French group (my French is fluent) when I get tongue tied!
@quietpurplehaze haha, great to speak French fluent, I understand it each time we go to France a little bit better. I only speak, almost, fluent menu......very important if you want to eat well 😉

Me, too (conversations!) I can speak 3 words of Dutch but I cannot write them down so you will have to take my word for it!! Knowing the menu is good in any language.
Yes, it's strange isn't it "when I heard myself asking"! I have used that more than once in a commentary with a portrait!
