More of my flowering succulent

I believe I called this a cactus when I posted the first photo of the budding flowers on 10th August ...however I'm reliably informed that it is a succulent. It's very small, but pretty, I think.

I thought a cactus and a succulent were the same, so I had to go and look it up... all cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti. Ok... in any case, this is a beautiful image, I love the softness and the DoF.

That is so soft looking. Pinks and grays. I lived in Arizona for a while and never saw anything this pretty! Great shot.

Super colours in this, but beware, it looks hungry to me. Use a longer focal length so that you can stand further away! Sorry I thought it was a triffid.

@nairda I suppose it does look a little triffid like Adrian ... but not in real life - the flowers are very small and delicate, so nothing to fear! :-)
