Golf Course Egret

Taken on the golf course the other day. I'd played 18 holes and then went back out with my camera, without the clubs! I'd hoped to capture the pelicans that hang out on the water hazards, but I think I was too late in the day for them ... there were none to be seen. Maybe another day. In the meantime, an egret!

Beautiful!! I couldn't get close enough to shoot the egrets yesterday… the herons were much more willing to be photographed!

@seejillrun I guess it depends on the area and the birds Jill. I haven't yet managed to get a heron to stay still enough for me, but I can sneak up on the egrets much more easily! @jo13 Thanks Jo -much appreciated!
