These birds are very common around Houston and are very plain in colour. However, they sing their little hearts out at this time of year.

Mockingbirds are so interesting. This is a wonderful shot. I miss hearing them. In Colorado there are quite a few. They really can imitate a squeaky door, or other similar sounds. Fun to listen for them.
