@anazad511 Thanks Ana - this one was taken standing up on top of the air conditioning units, with my 100mm lens, looking up into the tree. Not the easiest of shots!
@randystreat Thanks Kathy. This was actually taken with my 100mm lens, but not really close up, so I did a fairly major crop afterwards. I couldn't get any closer as it was quite high on the branch of a tree, although I did climb up onto the air-conditioning units to get some height. It might have been better with my zoom lens, not sure.
Gorgeous! The flowering branch would've been lovely on its own but to have a little bee in there makes it fantastic! Had a laugh over the extremes you went to to get this image. What we do for a 365 pic, huh? This one was definitely worth your efforts.
I'm tardy in getting around with thank you's for visits to my macro project. You shared a comment on my Salted Spoon pic — you're right about a macro shot being a challenge on a zebra. I've settled on something that's a little smaller and less likely to run away when I get close. Thanks too for the shared comment on the Toys pic. Yeah, did a little ad work there for Disney. :)
