@lyndemc I had a huge dilemma about the camera Denise, as I was limited for space, and didn't want to lug my Canon (and lenses) around on my bike. I also wasn't sure to have much time to set up a photograph when cycling. So, what did I do? I took the iphone for quick snaps, the Panasonic 'point and shoot' for slightly better shots, but still easy to carry on the bike, and kept the Canon for evening walks and free time. It was the right decision, but I now want a 'point and shoot' with viewfinder, and ability to shoot in RAW, as well as some ability to change settings without being on a fully automatic setting. So, looking at Canon G16 or some such 'portable' camera for this type of thing. I also would like one to fit in my handbag for when I'm out in the centre of Paris - it's less conspicuous and you feel less of a 'tourist target' for the bad boys out there!!! Just as well its nearly Christmas - I can feel a gift coming on!!! :-)
@jamibann A Christmas Wish List is definitely in the making for you. You're admirably devoted to being a photographer what with all the ways you aim to be ready to capture the scenes. I should be toting my little Canon PowerShot along more often. I must go off and find where I've tucked that thing!
