On our last day, prior to flying out, we did a tour of the city of Luang Prabang, which included passing through a Monks' school, just as they were out for a break.
Great capture and I'm drooling out of envy, because we would had been now in that part of the world, actually in Myanmar, but we had to cancel it when my dear one got so sick... I'm enjoying your images.
@anazad511 So sorry that you missed out on Myanmar Ana - I hope your dear one is a little better! You must reschedule it. We were fortunate to live in Myanmar for 18 months some time ago. Wonderful country with fantastic people. Laos reminded me very much of Myanmar, although from what I saw, Laos people seemed to be less poor, if that's possible. I trust that the people will benefit from the current changes in Myanmar. I'd love to go back and see how different it is today - when we were there 'The Lady' was still under house arrest.
@jamibann it must have been very interesting to spend that time in Myanmar, though probably not easy. I hope we will have the opportunity again to visit it. We visited Vietnam some three years ago and I really enjoyed it.
