Today I met my little brother for lunch. It was his 50th birthday, and he and his wife came over to Paris on the Eurostar for the day. After lunch we took a walk around the city, taking in all the sights. These guys caught my eye playing Petanque in the gardens of the Palais Royal.
A very French scene, the b&w suits it. Must have been nice to meet up with your little brother for a birthday lunch. One of my little sisters turned 50 this year and it did make me feel pretty old!!!!
@paulaw Yes, it does make you feel old. It was lovely to see him though, albeit it very briefly! Off to London tomorrow to see my daughter - her 21st birthday today. She arrives in from Phoenix tomorrow afternoon. Big smiles!
Oh that will be lovely Issi, happy birthday to her. David gets home next weekend and although he has had an amazing experience he ready to come home now and have a well earned rest before finding out what they are going to do with him next!!!
