Antelope Slot Canyon, AZ

Antelope Slot Canyon is extremely impressive, but it was difficult photographically speaking. The guides usher you through the canyon very quickly, not allowing time for individual ideas or shots. Sand filters down from above too, so you have to look after your camera constantly. I got a couple of decent shots however.
une merveille de la terre, sublime photo

Lovely, Issi. With all those tones, it would work beautifully in mono, too.

I'm not really sure what I'm looking at, but it has wonderful lines and patterns.

@randystreat Kathy, Thanks for your kind comments on various of my recent photos. I'm still on catch up mode, I'm afraid. For this photo, I'm standing on the ground in a 'slot' canyon, looking up towards the light. The formations you see are the sides of the canyon - it is very narrow in places and there is just enough room for one or two people to pass though. A most fascinating place. Check out 'Antelope Slope Canyon' on google and you'll perhaps get a better picture of what the canyon actually looks like.

@jamibann I did look it up and it made more sense. I can see how this would be a most interesting place to visit.
